If you understand that the creature is having bowel issues before it gets a genuine blockage you can try to deal with it with a castor oil mixture to loosen the stool. The animal shouldn’t be given a laxative or anything to promote a bowel movement if you suspect it has a complete blockage. They manufacture a technical feed to provide them when they’re young that assists them to begin growing properly. This feed is a bit medicated and will supply them with all their nutritional needs. Once they’ve matured to a month or two of age you wish to change them into a maintenance feed so that they won’t become overly fat. Before you kill an animal to eat you should stop giving them feeds which contain any chemicals and feed them something such as rice bran or directly corn for at least 2 weeks so the compounds will be from the meat until you butcher the animal.
